Roger Demuth Named Vice President of Engineering and Beth Erickson Appointed Director of Account Management

“As we grow, we will continue the high level of customer focus that has created this growth. We are pleased to add reputable industry veterans who understand the customers and business requirements of the digital TV eco-system.”

itaas Inc., a leading provider of end-to-end iTV solutions in the digital video industry, today announced the addition of two new members to the executive leadership team in their Atlanta headquarters. The addition of these team members reflects the company’s continued focus on customers as well as increased opportunities and growing market demand.

Roger Demuth joins itaas as the vice president of engineering. Roger has more than 20 years of professional software development and management experience in a variety of lead roles. Most recently, he was vice president of engineering and senior vice president of services at Ensequence where he led a team working on EBIF products and technology. At itaas, Roger will lead itaas’ growing engineering team in North America and focus on delivery processes as well as additional growth of engineering teams. He will report to itaas’ CTO Jatin Desai.

Beth Erickson joins itaas as the director of account management and brings more than 17 years of experience in the telecommunications industry. Most recently, she was the regional vice president of affiliate relations and national accounts for iN DEMAND LLC, managing the Southeastern territory. During Beth’s tenure at iN DEMAND, she handled sales and marketing functions for PPV, VOD, and subscription sports package content. Prior to joining iN DEMAND, Beth spent several years developing and directing marketing promotions for leading cable companies including Time Warner Cable and MediaOne. As director of account management, Beth will focus on customer relationships, and the increasingly important role between content and interactivity.

These new positions follow the recently announced opening of a new office in Ontario, Canada and expansion of both U.S and India teams.

“itaas is actively ramping up in order to meet the growing demand of new and existing customers, both on the technology and content portability side of the business,” said Jatin Desai, CTO at itaas. “As we grow, we will continue the high level of customer focus that has created this growth. We are pleased to add reputable industry veterans who understand the customers and business requirements of the digital TV eco-system.”
