Eve will take you through the good, the bad, and the ugly of marriage, motherhood, career and divorce
Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) September 15, 2010
For women who are divorced, single moms, working wives or in the dating scene, MissGuided Mom (http://www.MissGuidedMom.com) brings hope for sweeter and brighter lives during challenging times. A fictional blog that launched a month ago, MissGuided Mom follows a newly divorced mom, Eve, as she becomes a little misguided while on a journey of self-discovery. With the help of her Guardian Angel, Eve learns life lessons in marriage, motherhood, career, and divorce.
After 12 years of marriage, Marisol Barrios, creator and author of MissGuided Mom, found herself suddenly divorced with two sons to raise. Inspired by life's events, she decided to create "Eve" and tell her story, a story that will resonate with many women.
“Eve will take you through the good, the bad, and the ugly of marriage, motherhood, career and divorce,” said Barrios. “And just as Eve welcomes spiritual recovery, rest and restoration, I hope other women and men who are experiencing some of the same issues find what Eve embraces.”
Collaborating on MissGuided Mom as Grace, the Guardian Angel, Caterina Clarke is a spiritual director who received her certification from Mount St. Mary's College in Los Angeles. Practicing spiritual direction in person and over the phone to accommodate those living across the country, Clarke helps to guide individuals in their spiritual journey and to discover creative ways to connect with God.
“I believe that everything in life can help people draw nearer to God if they take the time and recognize the sacred in their midst,” said Clarke, co-creator of MissGuided Mom. “With every encounter, I am inspired, honored and humbled because I believe I am standing on holy ground.”
Clarke describes Grace as the guiding Grace within Eve that also exists within all of individuals. She is the center of Eve's being.
“Grace's role is to illuminate Eve's path during dark times so she can see and help her emerge stronger and self-assured,” said Clarke. “Ultimately, Grace helps Eve on a journey to her true self and rediscover the divine beauty that already exists within her. As Eve commits to this journey, Grace is there every step of the way to give her strength, support and hope for a new and better life that is waiting for her.”
