restore their health for a lifetime.
Riverbank, CA (Vocus) September 15, 2010
In anticipation of the prestigious Frankfurt International Book Fair, leading self-publisher Xlibris announced today the availability of The Calorie Conspiracy, the engaging “part expose, part self-help” book authored by Dr. George Edward Schauf, M.D.
The Calorie Conspiracy builds on scientific evidence to offer an effective solution to eliminating and preventing obesity. It is an attempt at debunking obesity management programs that base on the flawed concept of “counting calories,” that is, the belief that one gains weight when one consumes more calories than expended, the solution to which is the converse.
Through its pages, Dr. Schauf introduces his own QQF (Quality, Quantity and Frequency) Theory, which states that it is what a person eats and how much of what, when and how often he eats that matters. Included in the discussion of the theory is the revelation on improper weight loss regimens that lead instead to loss of vital tissue, a serious consequence that must not be allowed to maintain good health. The QQF Theory offers a new, more comprehensive nutritional paradigm in solving obesity health issues in America, in the form of the QQF Lifetime Way of Eating. As well, it elaborates on the practice that is said to sum up the Theory, the Never After Breakfast rule.
Altogether, The Calorie Conspiracy presents a toolkit to help readers create positive, powerful habits of healthy living to overcome obesity and “restore their health for a lifetime.” It offers a challenge and a much healthier, more long-term alternative to the widespread Caloric Theory.
The Calorie Conspiracy will be featured at the Frankfurt International Book Fair, which will be held from October 6 to October 10, 2010 in Frankfurt, Germany. It is available for $19.99 (paperback) and $29.99 (hardback). Readers who wish to inquire about this book are encouraged to visit Xlibris.com or call toll free (888) 795-4274 today.
