Salt Lake City, UT (PRWEB) September 17, 2010
Four specially designed Sport Court® dodgeball courts will be installed for the 2010 DodgeBarrage, charity dodgeball tournament, held on Saturday, September 18th at the Salt Palace Convention Center. All proceeds will benefit Deron William’s Point of Hope Foundation, Kyle Korver Foundation and Ronnie Price Foundation.
“We are excited to partner with these foundations,” said Ron Cerny, President and CEO of Connor Sport Court International. “We share the goals and ideals of these wonderful organizations and are pleased to assist them in helping to improve the lives of families and children living in our communities.”
The court installations will be provided by Sport Court West, Utah’s Sport Court Dealer for more than 30 years.
The DodgeBarrage event will consist of 96 dodgeball teams, 8-10 players each, ages 18 and older. Teams will be split into morning and afternoon pools, with teams from each session qualifying for a single elimination bracket play. The championship game is scheduled to start between 4:30 & 5:00 p.m. Spectators will be charged $10 per person and children under 12 will be admitted free of charge with a paying adult.
In addition, spectators can expect to see all three NBA players at the event participating plus other Utah Jazz teammates.

About Point of Hope Foundation:
The Point of Hope Foundation, a non-profit organization, is dedicated to improving the quality of life for families and children. Proceeds from all events support Point of Hope programs dedicated to helping people in need.
About Kyle Korver Foundation:
The Kyle Korver Foundation began literally on the streets of Philadelphia working with city kids. Meeting with children in the projects north of center city, it became clear that bleak urban statistics are nameless faceless numbers that do not tell the whole story. The Kyle Korver foundation believes that a grassroots individualistic approach is the way to enact change. One child, one family, one class, one school, one neighborhood, one city.
About Ronnie Price Foundation:
The Ronnie Price Foundation’s mission is to make a difference in the lives of children who struggle in homes and communities for lack of recreational and educational opportunities, facilities and programs by providing resources, opportunities and mentoring, while at the same time providing opportunities for volunteers, donors and other like minded charities to provide service and friendship to sister communities as well as to individual children and their families.
