The body is set to make a comeback, and not a moment too soon.
Seattle, WA (PRWEB) September 18, 2010
On September 25th, 2010 at the Mountaineers Lodge located at 7700 Sand Point Way in Seattle, the public is invited to help celebrate the release of Frank Forencich’s latest book, "Change Your Body, Change the World", which is also available for purchase at http://www.exuberantanimal.com. Throughout the evening, attendees will hear from and meet the author, learn new movement techniques with some of Seattle’s top trainers, network with others, and have a chance to pick up a copy of the book. Admission to this event is free.
Starting promptly at 5 PM, Frank Forencich will kick off the festivities with an informative presentation, leading us through the essay-based journey that "Change Your Body, Change the World" is made up of; deep into a bushy habitat of bodies, health, physical training, culture and lifeways. As attendees begin this journey, Frank may offer this warning: Before beginning a program of sedentary living and isolation from the natural world, see your physician, your therapist and your insurance agent. While you’re at it, check with your family and friends. You are about to embark on a perilous lifestyle that is dangerous not only to yourself, but also to those around you.
Following Frank’s presentation, attendees will be invited to join in movement sessions with some of Seattle’s top trainers. Sebastien Alary and Dawni Rae Shaw from Pro Sport’s Club, the Barefoot Sensei from EARTH Gym on Whidbey Island, and Josh Leeger who is a NASM-certified personal trainer will lead the group through a few sessions that will leave attendees laughing, sweaty, and inspired. After working up an appetite, participants are invited to enjoy some food, drinks, and socializing. Books and t-shirts will be available for purchase.
