Northridge is proud to announce that two Northridge clients were selected as recipients of 2010 WebAwards, presented by the Web Marketing Association.
Northridge clients have been honored with WebAwards for many years; however, this year marks Northridge’s first year to win a “Best of” distinction which recognizes the single top scoring entry within an entire industry. This year’s Best of Construction Industry was awarded to Holder Construction. Holder Construction shares the “Best of” recognition with other industry best websites including AT&T, Dodge, Iron Mountain, Kiplinger, Mattel, McKesson, NBC, National Geographic, Pepsi, and University of Notre Dame.
Website entries are judged on seven criteria including design, innovation, content, technology, interactivity, copywriting, and ease of use. The award-winning Holder Construction website excelled well beyond industry averages in all seven criteria. Shared excerpts from this year’s WebAwards judges’ comments on the Holder Construction website include “fresh and clean (design) and clearly speaks to its target audience,” “Holder (website) feels open and modern,” “copy is appropriate and well written,” “great use of project portfolio,” and “great work.”
The WebAwards website Standard of Excellence awards, awarded this year to Northridge client Marubeni TAQA, is described by the Web Marketing Association as recognizing the standard of excellence for which all websites should strive and is awarded to those websites scoring higher across the seven criteria than the average across its respective industry category. Marubeni TAQA excelled beyond industry averages in design, ease of use, and innovation criteria. This year marks the fourth consecutive year Northridge has received the WebAward Standard of Excellence award in recognition for its client work.
