Ashley Furniture HomeStore re-opens as Case Furniture Gallery.

Time and again after talking with our customer base, it became so obvious that it was the right thing to do. Case closed!

After thirty-three years in the furniture business, the owners of the Ashley Furniture HomeStores in the Okanagan have “cracked the case” on what they believe will be the momentum in their stores for years to come.

Ashley Furniture HomeStores across the Okanagan are closing their doors for two days, re-opening October 1st as Case Furniture Gallery. Dennis and Marion Case opened the original Case Furniture store in Enderby in 1977 and ten years later converted that store to an Ashley HomeStore. They added an Ashley HomeStore in Kelowna in 2004, and 2009 opened Case Furniture Gallery in Vernon. All three stores will now be Case Furniture Gallery.

As the Enderby and Kelowna stores turn over to the new Case brand, the vast line of Ashley Furniture products Okanagan customers have come to know and love will remain. However the name change allows owners to carry product lines from local furniture designers, as well as some of the biggest names in Canadian design including Elran, Stylus and Décor Rest (distribution company for the famous “Steven & Chris” furniture line).

“Moving into the future, we felt it was going to be important to our customers that we carry unique local and Canadian products. We are excited and proud to be expanding our lines and offering customers more selection,” states Marion Case. They will also be adding appliances to their repertoire.

The change in name stems from several years of research and rapport with loyal customers. Says Marion Case of the name change: “Time and again after talking with our customer base, it became so obvious that it was the right thing to do. Case closed!”

Public grand opening festivities take place October 1st to 3rd where browsing customers will have a chance to win a $1000 Case Furniture Shopping Spree. See http://www.casefurniture.ca for details.
