“TV Goes Social” Panel to Discuss How TV and Online Video Shows are Benefiting from Social Media

Passenger, a leading social software and services company, today announced company executive Emily Gates and Tim Bergin will be presenting at Digital LA on September 21. Joining them will be Passenger clients Karen Manne of Disney ABC Television who will provide the opening remarks, and Melva Benoit of Fox Broadcasting Company who will participate in the panel. Executives from Digital LA, NBC Universal, Eventful and AvatarLabs are also panelists. The “TV Goes Social” panel will discuss how TV and online video content producers are using private social networks to garner valuable feedback and build deeper relationships with viewers. The panel will also explore how social media is being used to promote shows, and will examine the integration of streaming video with Facebook and Twitter.
