Deborah Barry of Honolulu was announced the winner of a CT&T electric vehicle on September 16 at the Hawai‘i Convention Center as the World Congress on Zero Emissions Initiatives – Launching “The Blue Economy” wrapped up a week of focusing on designs of an economic system driven by innovations, generating jobs and building social capital.
Based in South Korea, CT&T is the world's largest manufacturer of battery electric vehicles. Earlier this year, the company announced that they would be building a plant on Oahu to manufacture up to 10,000 vehicles a year.
