Calling all Italian food lovers! Great Chicago Italian Recipes.com, Chicago's No. 1 Italian recipe site, has launched there third and largest "Main Dish" recipe contest on September 15, 2010.
"Mangia Italiano Fall/Winter Italian Recipe Contest" gives a chance to professional chefs and home cooks to showcase there best Italian recipes. It's no secret that Italian food is enjoyed by many people all over the world. So, this contest helps discover new family recipes that people are proud to share.
Preserving Italian heritage has always been a goal of Great Chicago Italian Recipes.com and will continue to be in the future. One of the best thing about this contest, besides the great prizes, are the family stories people share along with their recipes.
The contests Grand Prize Winner will receive "An Italian Gift Basket with Keepsake Colander", which is filled with an assortment of great products. Second Place will receive a "CucinaPro 150 Imperia Pasta Machine" so you can make fresh pasta every day. Third Prize will be a beautiful "Deruta Orvieto 10 inch Pasta Bowl". Fourth Prize will receive "The Spiaggia Cookbook: Eleganza Italiana In Cucina" by renown Chicago Chef Tony Mantuano and the Fifth Prize will be a "Great Chicago Italian Recipes Cooking Apron" that you can wear while cooking up some of our great recipes.
This "Mangia Italiano Fall/Winter Italian Recipe Contest" is open only to legal U.S. and Canadian residents 18 years of age or older. Entrants may submit one original recipe per day for the duration of the contest. The contest began September 15, 2010 and will end on March 15, 2011. Once your recipe is submitted it will be open for visitor voting and commenting. The submissions with the most activity will be declared the winner. The Winner will be notified by email so be sure to leave a good email address where you can be reached.
