Industry Leader in Infant & Juvenile Furniture Partners with Whimsical Lifestyle Brand to Create New Nursery Collections Available Exclusively at Babies“R”Us

LaJobi Inc., a designer, manufacturer and distributor of leading brands of infant and juvenile furniture, announced today it was selected by LittleMissMatched, the unique tween brand that celebrates creativity and individuality, to collaborate in the creation of one-of-a-kind nursery furniture. Babies“R”Us will introduce the Confetti Collection by LaJobi to its stores nationwide in October 2010 as part of the retailer’s exclusive LittleMissMatched assortment.

“We are thrilled to partner with LittleMissMatched, whose influences infuse colorful creations with our elegantly designed furniture,” said Barbara Rogers, director of marketing and product development at LaJobi Inc. “The Confetti Collection is fun, whimsical and offers families some really exciting options. Customizable and convertible, Confetti furniture pieces will grow with a child’s needs and support self-expression and originality in the nursery and bedroom.”

The Confetti Collection marks LaJobi’s first product line designed in partnership with LittleMissMatched and includes a crib, desk, chair, nightstand, and 4 drawer dresser that features a chalkboard and magnetic dry erase board. The nightstand and desk combine to create a unique double dresser. Most pieces in the collection have slots that allow for insertion of color panels in pink, green, blue and white, for a customizable look. The collection also features a Lifestyle® crib which converts to a toddler bed, day bed and full-size bed with added features.

“We are very excited to partner with an established and recognizable nursery furniture manufacturer such as LaJobi,” said Jonah Staw, founder and chief executive officer of LittleMissMatched. “The entire LittleMissMatched nursery line has been designed to celebrate child development and individuality with products that will provide years of creative, customizable combinations. The Confetti Collection, in particular, is meant to grow with your child and celebrate his or her personality with joy!”

Beginning in October, the LittleMissMatched Confetti Collection will be available exclusively at Babies“R”Us with pieces ranging in price from $150 to $600.
