At Cakemail, we use both Tungle.me and WebEx to enhance our customer service

Tungle Corp., the company that is revolutionizing the online scheduling and calendar industry, today announced that WebEx now connects directly with Tungle.me accounts. WebEx combines real-time desktop sharing and phone conferencing to connect anyone, anywhere. Whether it’s via conference call or face-to-face, Tungle makes it easier to schedule meetings regardless of participants’ calendar systems or locations.

“We take a best-of-breed approach when it comes to partnerships and technology integrations. Linking with industry-leading services like WebEx is part of our ongoing efforts to create a more comprehensive Tungle experience,” said Marc Gingras, Founder and CEO of Tungle Corp. “Not only do we save time for our users when it comes to scheduling meetings, but also make it easy to access popular third-party services directly from their Tungle account.”

Tungle users can now automatically embed WebEx information into meeting invitations when organizing a conference call. The location field in the email confirmation and calendar event will have a link to the WebEx meeting. The integration helps assure that scheduled calls are more productive as all participants have access to the WebEx conferencing information and presentation documents at their fingertips.

“At Cakemail, we use both Tungle.me and WebEx to enhance our customer service,” says Steve Smith, VP of Sales at CakeMail. “Being able to seamlessly tie WebEx accessibility into a Tungle.me meeting invitation eliminates several steps in the process of booking an online meeting, and makes the experience simple and stress-free for clients and prospects.” CakeMail is a white-label multilingual email marketing platform providing customers with branding control, the ability to manage multiple clients, and a robust feature set that includes the integration of third party tools like Highrise (a 37Signals product), Formstack, and Zendesk.

Tungle currently supports all major calendars including Outlook, Google Calendar, Apple iCal, Entourage for Mac, Lotus Notes and Windows Live and Yahoo! calendars. Organizing a meeting is more efficient with the elimination of double-bookings, time zone confusion and lengthy emails chains about finding a time to meet.

In addition, Tungle allows business users to:

  • Easily share their existing calendars with others and invite them to book meetings without having to sign up for an account
  • Establish a personal scheduling page
  • Propose multiple time frames in meeting invitations
