“PaySecure is the only product we’ve come across that gives our merchants the ability to offer their shoppers the choice of using PIN debit for their online transaction with just a piece of software that’s integrated directly into the checkout"
Atlanta, GA (PRWEB) September 21, 2010
JetPay, LLC, a Dallas-based payment services provider and developer of JetPay™, a suite of payment transaction processing solutions, announced today that they have partnered with Atlanta-based Acculynk to offer the company’s PaySecure Internet PIN debit solution to E-commerce merchants utilizing the JetPay payment platform. With over 1,000 Internet merchants currently enabled for PaySecure, and 9 EFT networks contracted to provide the service to their issuers, PaySecure is proving to be one of the fastest growing emerging payment methods on the U.S. market.
“PaySecure is the only product we’ve come across that gives our merchants the ability to offer their shoppers the choice of using PIN debit for their online transaction with just a piece of software that’s integrated directly into the checkout page,” said Trent Voigt, Chairman of JetPay. “It’s easy for shoppers to use, easy for our merchants to implement, and it lowers fraud and fees, so offering such a solution to our E-commerce base makes perfect sense for JetPay. Acculynk also opens the door to customers with unbranded debit cards to shop our merchants, increasing their customer base.”
PaySecure utilizes a patented, graphical PIN-pad that appears right at the merchant checkout when the consumer’s debit qualifies to be used with the service. Approximately 1 out of every 2 consumers presented the option to enter their PIN with PaySecure do so, rather than choosing to use signature debit.
“This is an elegant, simple payment solution that does not require a drastic change in consumer payment behavior because we give them the choice they are already familiar with at the retail POS – would you like to enter your PIN for this transaction?” said Ashish Bahl, CEO of Acculynk. “Because people already understand PIN debit from years of use in the retail environment, and know that their PIN helps secure their purchase, we have seen substantial consumer usage.”
Merchants can utilize the JetPay and Acculynk Internet PIN debit solution without changing their current credit card processor.
“One of the advantages we have in partnering with well-known processors like JetPay is that once implemented on the processing platform, PaySecure immediately becomes available to any merchant that wants to add it to their checkout,” said Bahl. “We are pleased that JetPay recognizes the value that PaySecure provides to E-commerce merchants and has chosen to offer our solution.”
