Nursing Home Complaint Center Begins Initiative To Stop Nursing Home Abuse, Medicare Fraud & Seeks Law Firms In Every State To Assist

The Nursing Home Complaint Center is beginning a three pronged national, and state, by state initiative, to go after nursing homes for elder abuse, neglect, and wrongful death. This effort will also focus on nursing homes, or adult care facilities, over charging Medicare, and Medicaid for services never rendered, and the group needs elder abuse, or wrongful death law firms to assist with this effort. The Nursing Home Complaint Center is announcing a three pronged effort to get assistance for our nations senior citizens enduring abuse, neglect, and even wrongful death in our nations nursing homes, or adult care facilities on a US State by State, and major city, by major city basis. The second aspect of this initiative is to go after nursing homes, and or adult care facilities that are overcharging the federal government, or individual states for services never rendered.   • According to the Nursing Home Complaint Center, "the average family member, or loved one of a nursing home patient typically does not know the signs of elder abuse, neglect, or even wrongful death. Most family members don't see it because they are not there." The group says, "all to often the family member gets a call from the nursing home indicating someone's mother, or dad is now in a county ICU. They forgot to mention-no one changed the diapers on mom-or dad for a day, or two-they got a serious infection-and now they are going to die." They say, "the treatment of our nations elderly in nursing homes is a national disgrace. Our nursing home initiative is designed to change this horrible fact. How can anyone, who works at a nursing home look the other way? The sad fact is that they do."
  • The Nursing Home Complaint Center says, " US Medicare, and Medicaid fraud is said to be about $60 billion dollars each year. A giant chunk of this $60 billion dollar figure is a result of nursing homes, and or elder care facilities/services billing the US Federal, or individual state governments-for services never rendered." The group says, "as part of our initiative we are going after nursing home, or elder care service providers, who have specific proof about up-coding, or bundling Medicare/Medicaid bills. Most of these insiders do not know there is a reward for this type of information."
