The Law Offices of James Scott Farrin is pleased to announce that three new attorneys have recently joined the firm.
Attorney Brian Clemmons is a litigation attorney who handles mostly personal injury claims for the firm. He has more than 23 years of legal experience in a variety of areas including personal injury, Workers’ Compensation and Social Security Disability. He received his J.D. from the University of North Carolina School of Law and his B.A. in history from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
“I was attracted to the position at the Law Offices of James Scott Farrin because I enjoy representing individuals and working in litigation. I enjoy putting the puzzle pieces together,” he said. “And personal injury claims allow you to deal with people who really need your help.”
Attorney LaDonna Williams handles mostly personal injury claims for our clients. Ms. Williams worked as an office manager, legal assistant and law clerk at an NC personal injury law firm for 23 years prior to obtaining her law degree in 2006. Her outstanding legal work earned her the designation of “Rising Star” by North Carolina Super Lawyers in 2010.* She received her J.D. from North Carolina Central University School of Law in Durham, NC and her B.A. in sociology from Salem College in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.
“What appealed to me about this position was the ability to work very specifically in the field of personal injury law,” she said. “I was also very impressed with the firm’s community involvement.”
Attorney Crystal Young handles mostly automobile accident and personal injury claims for our clients. A bilingual attorney, she has experience in a variety of practice areas including personal injury, bankruptcy and immigration law. Immediately prior to her position at the Law Offices of James Scott Farrin, she managed the bankruptcy practice in a Raleigh, NC law firm. She received her J.D. from the University of Tennessee College of Law in Knoxville, Tennessee and her B.A. in both political science and Spanish language & literature from North Carolina State University.
