VistaQuest License of FlashPoint Patents Resolves Litigation.

We welcomed and relied on Pinnacle to structure equitable access to critical technology as we focus on moving our business forward.

Pinnacle Licensing Group, a new patent licensing services company, today announced that it has helped negotiate and complete a patent license and settlement agreement on behalf of FlashPoint Technologies with VistaQuest Corporation. The agreement resolved two patent disputes involving ten digital camera patents that FlashPoint had asserted against VistaQuest. The new license from FlashPoint to VistaQuest and associated settlement has led to the dismissal of all claims between the companies in Civil Action No. 1:08-cv-00139-GMS and Civil Action No. 1:09-cv-00106-GMS, in the United States District Court For Delaware. VistaQuest joins more than 20 other licensees of FlashPoint Technology digital imaging patents.

“As a third-party, Pinnacle was uniquely valuable in negotiating a license agreement which enabled the settlement of this matter and helping us avoid future litigation costs,” said Hamed Hejran, VistaQuest CEO. “We welcomed and relied on Pinnacle to structure equitable access to critical technology as we focus on moving our business forward.”
