WHO: The chiefs, sheriffs, emergency managers, emergency medical services directors and communications professionals that make up the Public Safety Alliance and the 40-plus national organizations supporting their position will brief the press on meetings held this week regarding spectrum allocation and funding for the nationwide interoperable public safety broadband network.

WHAT: The Public Safety Alliance Press Conference will include up-to-the-minute information from the White House Public Safety Communications Planning Forum, meetings on Capitol Hill and the Senate Committee on Commerce, Science and Transportation hearing entitled, Keeping Us Safe: The Need for a Nationwide Public Safety Broadband Network, which includes testimony from The Honorable Annise Parker, the Mayor of Houston, Texas.
