Aviation Career Expo 2010, hosted by Jetcareers.com, combines a job fair with vibrant networking opportunities in exciting Las Vegas, Nevada. Job recruiters will be on-site looking for pilots, aviation maintenance professionals and prospective flight attendants in a positive and friendly environment.

With the national unemployment rate at 9.6 percent, no one is immune to the potential need to look for a job, even those with degrees and experience. Jetcareers.com knows that companies are hiring despite those numbers, and they are doing their part to pair professionals and employers in the aviation field through their annual Aviation Career Expo, hosted Monday, October 18 at the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Pilot recruitment is the main focus of the event, however several companies in attendance are also seeking qualified aviation maintenance professionals and prospective flight attendants.

Attending career fair exhibitors include Delta Air Lines, US Airways, Atlas Air, Polar Air Cargo, Allegiant Air, Ameriflight, AirNet, Compass Airlines, American Eagle Airlines, CommutAir, Vision Airlines, Airline Transport Professionals, Kalitta Air, Air Line Pilots Association, Citium Wealth Management and Walter A. Forred, M.D. of My Flight Surgeon, PC. Education opportunities abound in breakout sessions throughout the day.

The highlight of the Expo, a networking function commonly known as NetworkJC, provides a setting for participants to mix and mingle on Monday night, October 18.

Attendees will have the opportunity to connect at various activities throughout the event. The full schedule is available online: http://aviationcareerexpo.com/
