St. Maarten is making it more affordable to vacation on the Dutch side of the island with the launch of the Winter in St. Maarten promotion offering 25% off nightly room rates at select hotels, free nights, and “SXM Bucks” to be used at participating restaurants, casinos, car rentals, shops, spas and attractions. St. Maarten is making it more affordable to vacation on the Dutch side of the island with the launch of the Winter in St. Maarten promotion offering 25% off nightly room rates at select hotels, free nights, and “SXM Bucks” to be used at participating restaurants, casinos, car rentals, shops, spas and attractions.

Offers are valid on bookings (minimum of four nights) made by Oct. 15, 2010 for travel Dec. 15, 2010 through April 15, 2011.

Participating hotels and sample offers are as follows (rates are per person, based on double occupancy):
Westin Dawn Beach Resort – Westin Resort is nestled into the lush hillside of Dawn Beach embraced by miles of blue hues, acres of tropical colors and a sandy white beach. Winter in St. Maarten offer: Stay four nights and receive the fifth night free, plus breakfast for two. Rates start at $368 per night.

Sonesta Great Bay Beach Resort & Casino – Sonesta Great Bay is an all-inclusive family resort overlooking beautiful Great Bay Harbor and a short 10-minute walk from the exciting capital of Philipsburg. Winter in St. Maarten offer: 25% off nightly rates and $50 SXM Bucks per room, per day. Rates start at $154 per night.

Princess Heights – Princess Heights is a family-operated, boutique condo hotel offering spacious studios and suites featuring balconies with ocean views in the Dawn Beach area. Winter in St. Maarten offer: 25% off nightly rates. Rates start at $214 per night.

Sonesta Maho Beach Resort – Sonesta Maho is an all-inclusive resort set on 10 acres of lush, beachfront property that offers a variety of accommodations and is located in the upbeat Maho area in the heart of the nightlife. Winter in St. Maarten offer: 25% off nightly rates, plus $50 SXM Bucks per room, per day. Rates start at $162 per night.
