The technology firm DataChambers has been named one of the fastest-growing privately held companies in the Triad region of North Carolina. The award is based on revenues and percentage growth over the last three years.

The North Carolina technology firm DataChambers has been named one of the 50 fastest growing, privately held companies in the Triad by The Business Journal of the Greater Triad Area.

DataChambers ranks 17th based on a formula that weighs both revenues and percentage growth over the last three years. The accounting firm Smith Leonard PLLC of High Point verified the results.

“We’ve been fortunate to experience strong demand, even through the worst of the recession,” said Nicholas Kottyan, CEO of DataChambers. “The types of outsourced information technology services we provide help our clients reduce their information technology costs and receive a level of service that can be hard for them to replicate on their own. As a result, we grew our way through one of the toughest economic periods on record.”

During the three-year award period, DataChambers invested millions to expand its datacenter footprint and more than doubling its capacity to service clients. In addition, the company opened a new office in Charlotte and launched new services – from remote desktop management to online backups for small to midsized businesses.

DataChambers and other Fast 50 firms are featured in a special edition of The Business Journal. The rankings were announced during a gala event at High Point University hosted by The Business Journal, Smith Leonard and Wachovia, a Wells Fargo company.
