Patrick S. Carter, Chairman and President of California-based, renewable energy firm 808 Renewable Energy Corporation (“808”; http://www.808renewableenergy.com), is pleased to announce the addition of its newest team member, Chief Executive Officer and Board of Directors Member, Pascal Lorthioir. Mr. Lorthioir brings to the firm – which started in 2006 as 808 Investments, LLC – more than 20 years of professional, hands-on corporate experience in operations, management, research and development, mergers and acquisitions, and international production, in a variety of industry arenas.

At 808, Mr. Lorthioir will be responsible for running operations of the firm and ensuring 808’s growth – as both a company, in general, as well as growing the firm’s investor base – with a focus on preparing the company for a successful IPO. Mr. Lorthioir will also sit on the firm’s Board of Directors.

“One of our main goals at 808 – aside from building energy projects that lessen environmental impact – is to create ever-increasing value for our investors in the firm’s projects, and eventually in the firm, itself,” says Mr. Carter. “This can only be done with strong operational leadership, watching over all facets of 808’s operations. Pascal has a long track-record of not only growing and further developing healthy businesses, but also of overseeing large-scale project development and operations.”

Mr. Lorthioir began his career in large commercial construction development, in both Europe and the U.S. His first commercial warehouse development in France, was realized in 1987, and was soon followed by a 110-condo development project in Europe, and back in the States, by the Chattooga County Jail in Georgia and finally, the building of the Human Resources Agency in Stockton, CA.

After his successes in commercial construction development, Mr. Lorthioir held the position of chief knowledge officer at Marshall & Swift, an MDA business. During his 18 years of service with Marshall & Swift, he developed and managed the production environment to foster exceptional growth. While Mr. Lorthioir was with Marshall & Swift, the company realized five-fold revenue growth in just four years (2000-2004). At Marshall & Swift, Mr. Lorthioir participated in two mergers and acquisitions, as well as venture capitalization and eventually, the successful sale of Marshall & Swift to MDA. In 1999, Mr. Lorthioir received a special award from the firm’s Board of Directors, for exceptional service.

Prior to his joining 808, Mr. Lorthioir held a senior director position at J.D. Power and Associates, a McGraw Hill company, where he managed the worldwide digitalization and globalization of the J.D. Power data production, along with product development.

Mr. Lorthioir has been featured in publications such as National Underwriter, Magazine L’Argus, Insured Americans and Insurance Canada. Mr. Lorthioir has been a moderator at the 2006 Pension Real Estate Association (PREA) conference, a speaker at the Southwestern Insurance Information Service Public Policy Forum in Dallas, TX, and a speaker at the 1999 Insurance Symposium in London.

Mr. Lorthioir holds an engineering degree and an MBA (DESTU) from the University of Strasbourg. He resides in Huntington Beach, and is Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certified as well as FAA certified.

About 808 Renewable Energy Corporation

Headquartered in Huntington Beach, CA, 808 Renewable Energy bridges the gap between industry and investors with renewable energy cogeneration investment packages. 808 Renewable Energy’s primary focus is to provide and manage renewable “green energy” projects for manufacturing companies and other large facilities. This is accomplished by installing or acquiring for clients, cost-free cogeneration, solar and other renewable energy equipment, which lowers energy costs, reduces environmental emissions, and produces a smaller carbon footprint for everyone involved. 808 Renewable Energy’s current project, 808 Energy3, LLC is the largest owner of cogeneration units in the State of California.

808 Renewable Energy’s immediate goal is to acquire or build 100 new green energy power plants that utilize cogeneration and/or solar systems to produce electricity, heat, and/or chilled water, to be placed at moderately sized manufacturing, industrial, and office campus facilities around America. It is believed that this will provide a significant cost savings to each facility where a plant is placed. Major revenue drivers for 808 Renewable Energy are for the sales of generated electricity, heat, and/or chilled water. The Company’s expenses center around the purchase, installation, start-up, permitting, insurance, and maintenance of the renewable energy generation equipment, as well as the cost of raising capital.

808 Renewable Energy offers membership interests in their Energy Projects tailored to meet their primary focus of deriving maximum net income, obtained from cogeneration power and beneficial rebates, as well as significant tax incentives. Investor benefits include certain tax credits, relevant cash flow, and by helping America reduce its dependence on foreign oil, investors, in effect, help solve America’s energy problem. Each Project produces a base minimum return to investors; when usage rates are above the minimum agreed-upon baseline, investor returns increase, as well.

808 Renewable Energy has in place an engineering and maintenance staff capable of handling all design, permitting, maintenance, and upgrades necessary to ensure that their devices operate smoothly and efficiently. To that end, the Company has a depth of experience in the design, manufacture, and supply of state-of-the-art technologies in pollution control, energy, waste-to-energy, energy efficiency systems, and combined heat and power systems (cogeneration mechanical units).
