A story of powerful magic and sorcery, friendship and love, and joy and pain awaits young and old readers alike in this intricately woven fantasy-adventure by teen author Elizabeth Lewis. Spellbound, her engaging book released through Xlibris, introduces the world of Eldasor, a realm where otherworldly beings and enchanting creatures abound.
Once, five princesses were gifted with the powers to rule five different dominions. Ziyae was given power and the gift of Sight; Kymlea was given the power of Water; Ishtar was given the power of Air, Jaelle was given the power of Flame; and Eiko was given the power of Earth. Their lives were forever changed as they became the Five Elements. Through a portal that took them into a void of time and space, they combined their powers and found a world—the world of Eldasor. There, they ruled in peace for many years and each one fell in love. Then, disaster struck. It forced them to land back in their domains on earth where they lived for many years and grew old. They married and bore children whom they had to protect by sending them away—separate from each other until they reach the age of fourteen.
Years later, the children of the Five Elements and the prophesied Story Keepers who are now in their ripe age will soon meet, enter a portal, and discover their powers. Indigo, Daiyu, Ash, Esmeralda, Zachary, Caileigh, Cedric, and Phoenix have a great challenge – a battle – to face. A looming darkness awaits Eldasor, and they must defeat this by fighting against the evil witch Aethelinda. They have a long journey ahead of them. They have to get to know each other, train themselves, and hone their newly discovered powers. But with all the obstacles and challenges on their path, will they be able to save the world of Eldasor from an eternity of darkness? A potent climax awaits readers in Spellbound.
