This summer, Baltimore-based Raymond Geddes & Company Inc got involved with ABC's "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition" to provide volunteers and school supply donations for the Boys Hope Girls Hope project in Baltimore. The donated school supply care packages contained an assortment of fun GEDDES education supplies for the group of girls moving into their new Girls Hope residence.

The residence–located in the Overlea neighborhood of Northeast Baltimore–was developed by the Extreme Makeover: Home Edition team on land owned by the Boys Hope Girls Hope organization. The renovated home will provide a stable and safe environment for at-risk kids from the Baltimore area.

"We heard about the Girls Hope project shortly before construction started and discovered the location would be just down the street from our main office," said Will Geddes, President. "When we found out who the project would be for, we jumped at the chance to get involved. We're a 3rd generation Baltimore business. We were very happy to get involved locally by providing education supplies and volunteers for the project. Everyone at GEDDES wishes the girls great success for the current school year and beyond. The new home is a very impressive addition to the neighborhood."

Construction of the Boys Hope Girls Hope project began in early July. Additional details regarding the “Extreme Makeover: Home Edition” Baltimore episode can be found at ABC.com. The completed residence will be revealed during season eight's special two-hour premiere airing September 26th on ABC.

The Emmy-award-winning reality program, Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, now entering its eighth season, is produced by Endemol USA, a division of Endemol Holding. It's executive-produced by Brady Connell and George Verschoor. David Goldberg is chairman of Endemol North America. The show airs Sundays from 8-9 p.m., ET on ABC.
