San Francisco, CA (PRWEB) September 29, 2010
Flash Point Communications (http://www.flashpointcommunications.com), a digital media agency, is excited to announce San Francisco as their second stop on the Best of California Road Trip in the 2011 Lincoln MKX. Model/actress Vane Millon, along with Scott Empringham (President/CEO of Flash Point) and a video production crew, will arrive in San Francisco this Wednesday, September 29, 2010.
After leaving Sacramento, CA and sailing across the Golden Gate Bridge, the new 2011 Lincoln MKX and crew will make their first San Francisco stop at Musee Mecanique (http://www.museemecanique.org). The Musee Mecanique museum is one of the world's largest privately owned collections of mechanically operated musical instruments and antique arcade machines, including the famous “Laffing Sal”, “Susie the Can-Can Dancer” and the fascinating “Carnival.” Owner Dan Zelinsky will be hosting the Best of California Road Trip crew for a tour of the museum, which is located at Pier 45 at Fisherman's Wharf.
Wednesday evening the MKX crew will experience the ambiance of the 1920’s era of Prohibition at the famous Bourbon and Branch (http://www.bourbonandbranch.com ) on Jones Street. Bourbon and Branch is a historical social gathering place serving alcohol since 1921. Under disguise as JJ Russell Cigar Shop, this establishment boasts they obtained the finest bootleg during the era without a single raid by Prohibition Agents. Here the MKX crew will access Bourbon and Branch via secret password, follow the “house rules” required to maintain the "Speakeasy" and uncover the secret entrance and exit pathways used in the era.
The Musee Mecanique museum and Bourbon and Branch, along with other businesses in Lincoln’s Best of California Road Trip, are in the running to be awarded the Best of California business, as voted by their fans on the California Lincoln Mercury Facebook page. The competition objective is to create local events, which will draw consumers to local businesses to hear the inside scoop on the business, experience the culture of the city, and explore the 2011 Lincoln MKX in person. The winner will be announced at the San Diego stop of the Best of California tour.
