Today Exari released Version 5.5 of its patented document assembly and contract management software, marking 10 years of development. The release has more than 250 new features designed to enhance the end-user experience from document creation through negotiation and management. Many of these features were added in response to specific client requests. Sixteen Exari clients had direct input into new features, with many suggestions coming from DLA Piper, PwC, Munich Re and our investment banking clients.

Exari remains the only document assembly/contract management system that offers Roundtripping™, which streamlines the approval of complex documents by making it easy to spot changes. Roundtripping™ enables users to see changes made during contract negotiations and supports re-use of negotiated clauses within the assembly interview. Users can compare different versions created during the negotiation and see how they may deviate from company standards.

Some of the new features in Version 5.5 are designed to improve workflow and contract management. This includes more structured data management and better reporting. There is also an easy way to track active deals and maintain a sort-able task list. Designed to integrate seamlessly with a wide variety of systems, Exari can now be launched directly from SharePoint enabling users to create, edit, approve and store their documents there. Exari could already be launched directly from SalesForce.com.
