WorkWise, Inc. introduced a new, function-centric ERP approach to a large and enthusiastic group of manufacturers at their Customer Conference, Taking Care of Business.

The latest release of Role-Based ERP™ or (RB-ERP™), Version 9.3, is designed around actual roles in manufacturing enterprises and allows manufacturers to leverage their most important personnel assets: time and knowledge, and empowers the people who run the company day-to-day to “run” the software. RB-ERP gives them the daily operational means to effect change and take corrective action.

“Customers at our recent conference were thrilled with our new tailor-able Role-Based WorkBenches”, says Wayne Wedell, President of WorkWise. “Our unique architecture allows users to configure their own WorkBench, vividly enhancing interaction with the system, so they can make more effective decisions and provide quick answers to inquiries.”

RB-ERP is delivered with WorkWise’s exclusive WorkBench Designer that includes the ability to simply and quickly tailor a single-screen WorkBench for an individual user or a user group. There are over 1,000 Application Components (APP-COMS) which can be combined in any manner desired to provide each user with exactly what is needed to perform their job function. APP-COMS can be selected via a simple check box approach and in a hierarchical fashion so that both detail functions and group functions can be included for each user.

Also included with the 9.3 Release WorkBenches is robust, easy to use query ability so that each user may create an unlimited set of specific queries which mine the data base to suit their specific job requirements. These queries may be saved and/or shared with other users.

From an architecture standpoint RB-ERP™ also takes full advantage of such Microsoft tools as SQL Server, SSRS, and .Net. In addition, all data analysis and WorkBench functions are interfaced with Microsoft Office tools with a click of the mouse.
