Milwaukee, WI (PRWEB) September 28, 2010
WorkWise, Inc. introduced a new, function-centric ERP approach to a large and enthusiastic group of manufacturers at their Customer Conference, Taking Care of Business.
The latest release of Role-Based ERP™ or (RB-ERP™), Version 9.3, is designed around actual roles in manufacturing enterprises and allows manufacturers to leverage their most important personnel assets: time and knowledge, and empowers the people who run the company day-to-day to “run” the software. RB-ERP gives them the daily operational means to effect change and take corrective action.
“Customers at our recent conference were thrilled with our new tailor-able Role-Based WorkBenches”, says Wayne Wedell, President of WorkWise. “Our unique architecture allows users to configure their own WorkBench, vividly enhancing interaction with the system, so they can make more effective decisions and provide quick answers to inquiries.”
"We were eager to take advantage of the latest technology in Version 9.3 and were the first company to go live with the software. The go-live went smoothly and the software was running solidly enough that I was able to attend the customer conference the very next week", said Ron Markus, IT Manager at Klauer Manufacturing in Dubuque, IA.
RB-ERP is delivered with WorkWise’s exclusive WorkBench Designer that includes the ability to simply and quickly tailor a single-screen WorkBench for an individual user or a user group. There are over 1,000 Application Components (APP-COMS) which can be combined in any manner desired to provide each user with exactly what is needed to perform their job function. APP-COMS can be selected via a simple check box approach and in a hierarchical fashion so that both detail functions and group functions can be included for each user.
“With the challenges we face to do more with less, I can see how the WorkBenches will greatly help us to improve our efficiency and elevate our customer service. Having the exact information that you need to get the job done at your finger tips is a big win for us”, commented Mike Orazen, COO at Firedex in Medina, OH.
Also included with the 9.3 Release WorkBenches is robust, easy to use query ability so that each user may create an unlimited set of specific queries which mine the data base to suit their specific job requirements. These queries may be saved and/or shared with other users.
Kim Murray, Manager of Administration at Unipunch Products in Clear Lake, WI said “Being able to empower users with as much or as little capability as they need, and to eliminate searching through menus for the right information has made us several steps faster than our competition.”
From an architecture standpoint RB-ERP™ also takes full advantage of such Microsoft tools as SQL Server, SSRS, and .Net. In addition, all data analysis and WorkBench functions are interfaced with Microsoft Office tools with a click of the mouse.
“We are looking forward to upgrading to Version 9.3. The WorkBenches will allow our users to access the software more efficiently and also minimize the need for additional non-connected data bases. By leveraging the WorkBenches, we also expect to eliminate non-value added activities and invest this time improving our customer service and future growth without headcount additions. We see RB-ERP as an important element needed to achieve our goal of ONE VERSION OF THE TRUTH” said Jim Koleski, CFO at Alto-Shaam, Inc. in Menomonee Falls, WI.
WorkWise V 9.3 RB-ERP is shipping now to the general public as well as to the existing WorkWise customer based throughout the United States and the Pacific Rim that currently uses TCM applications to run their enterprise.
