MBX Systems, a leading provider of server appliances, embedded, single-purpose computers, and storage solutions for application developers and OEMs worldwide, announced the appointment of Daniel Fang as Director of Global Supply Chain. “Daniel is a global supply chain and procurement veteran with 15 years of experience in supply chain optimization, production planning and inventory control. With our continuous rapid growth, prioritizing supply side planning and maintaining inventory efficiency will help MBX continue to stay a step ahead of our customers’ production and global logistics demands,” says Len Petty, Chief Financial Officer at MBX Systems.
Fang adds, “A high-performing supply chain benefits its stakeholders from end to end. Application developers have multiple options for software deployment, and for those who choose to deploy on hardware, we have two main responsibilities as their contract manufacturer: to allow them to maintain strong margins by containing costs for components, inventory, and distribution; and to help them successfully compete by assuring their systems are built and deployed on time. Effectively supporting our customers to succeed is inherent to our success.”
Fang most recently held the position of Director, Global Supply Chain for a $5 billion industrial manufacturer. He holds B.A. in Economics from Southwest University of Finance and Economics, China, and an M.B.A. from University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana.
