Panel of mobile healthcare pros to discuss how wireless is changing the industry

Providing state-of-the-art communication technology, such as smartphones and applications, can increase the efficiency of healthcare workers and positively impact patient safety and care.

Voalté, a leader in point-of-care communication technology, today announced that Trey Lauderdale, vice president of innovation, will participate in a panel discussion at the Cellular Telecommunications Industry Association (CTIA) Everywhere Healthcare event next week.

The event, which will take place at the San Francisco Convention Center on Wed., Oct. 6, will provide attendees with perspectives on the mobile health market from investors, technologists, care providers, analysts and mobile operators.

Lauderdale, along with Moderator Brian Dolan from Mobihealthnews, and other panel members including Halle Tecco from Harvard Business School, formerly at Apple’s AppStore, Dr. Peter Hudson, co-founder and CEO of Healthagen, and Sean Handel, vice president of subscriber business for Epocrates, will discuss smartphone medical apps for healthcare professionals.
