Arcis’ Verification Grid technologies and Arcis’ Void Pantograph technologies are now bundled together for customers seeking an improved level of security for their hard copy documents.

Arcis’ patent pending Verification Grid technologies and Arcis’ patented and patent pending Void Pantograph technologies are now bundled together for customers seeking an improved level of security for their hard copy documents. “This is the best document security technology combination available today,” explains Andrew McTaggart, Managing Director of Arcis Digital Security, “If a fraudster attempts to forge or copy a coupon that has both a Verification Grid and a Void Pantograph they will fail. By combining calibrated and mutually supportive, verification and anti-copy print security technologies together, the coupon has a higher level of protection than ever before.”

The Verification Grid is designed to work in conjunction with the Void Pantograph to enhance the performance of both technologies. The Verification Grid is a continuous screened pattern or design that is visible on an original document, but is not visible on a photocopy. When coupled with the Void Pantograph, which is hidden on an original document but displays the word “VOID” (but can also be any other verbiage or graphic) on a copy, the Verification Grid re-enforces the Void pantograph. “The combination of the two technologies is extremely innovative and gives our customers new options,” continues McTaggart. “Improved security is available for any document without having to use of expensive specialized paper, inks or document verifiers.”

All Arcis’ print security technologies are produced using plain paper and ink resulting in a significant cost savings to the customer and increased options in the design and layout of any document requiring security features. These technologies are available on most digital printers and presses as well as on the more traditional offset and flexographic presses.

The Digital Void Pantograph (DVP) & Digital Verification Grid (DVG) technologies are being demonstrated at Graph Expo 2010. Visit our partners (RISO in booth 3111 for cut-sheet or Oce North America in booth 1217 for continuous feed) to obtain samples containing our DVG and DVP technologies.
