Remember several years ago when boutique sex toy stores popped up? . . . we're bringing that experience to casual sex.

Hey Foxy is a sex positive hookup and dating website for singles and couples. While the online dating industry, particularly the sex-focused segment, is typified by spammy come-ons and scores of fake profiles. Hey Foxy is changing that.
"Remember several years ago when boutique sex toy stores popped up? It used to be that if you wanted a vibrator you'd have to go to one of those intimidating XXX video shops. Nowadays it's completely normal for a professional woman to walk into a toy shop, learn a bit about the product, make a purchase, and leave happy. We're bringing that experience to casual sex," says Scotty Weeks, founder of Hey Foxy.
What sets Hey Foxy apart from other sites is the way that the community is managed. It is closely monitored for fake profiles and suspicious activity. In addition the tone of the site is playful, appealing to an urban market that is a bit more relaxed about sex. The understated design of the site isn't crowded with pictures of porn starlets or the garish colors of many adult oriented sites. Scotty Weeks relays a story about early testing "This guy was looking at the site and said 'What's with all the pink links? It's a bit fruity, don't ya think?' I'd be quite happy if people who were that worried by a bit of pink just stayed away, frankly."
The site is open to everybody of legal age that's interested in hooking up for casual sex, or just interested in looking around. The options for profile gender include male, female, couples both gay and straight, and transgendered. Hey Foxy frequently runs contests where new sign-ups get a chance to win a high end sex toy, or a free upgrade to a premium membership. Mr. Weeks and the Hey Foxy team are continually looking for the opportunity to improve people's sexual education, health, and well being. As part of that mission Hey Foxy is making a priority of sponsoring sex positive community events.
Building Hey Foxy hasn't been a solo adventure for Mr. Weeks. Ian Rogers is responsible for site design and visual branding, and helps with strategy and marketing. Additional assistance is provided by Scotty's wife, Naomi Jacobs Weeks, writing copy and providing quality assurance.
