M*Modal, the industry leader in advanced Speech Understanding technology, today announced it has been named the ‘Tech 50’ award recipient in the information technology category by the Pittsburgh Technology Council. The October 14 awards ceremony recognized the top companies throughout southwestern Pennsylvania that have found success in sales, corporate citizenship, job growth and retention, and innovation.
This accolade continues a year dotted with honors for the Pittsburgh-based company, including being named one of the Pittsburgh Business Journal’s Best Places to Work in Western Pennsylvania, and Speech Technology Magazine’s Speech Luminary award presented to CEO Michael Finke. M*Modal was previously recognized by the Pittsburgh Technology Council in 2003 when it received the prestigious Rising Star award.
“I’m extremely proud of what our company has accomplished this year and the commitment we continue to experience from our employees and customers,” said Michael Finke. “On behalf of M*Modal, I am honored to be selected by the Pittsburgh Technology Council for meeting this award's high standards.”
