Epiphany Cardiography Products, LLC is proud to announce that KLAS (http://www.KLASresearch.com) awarded it “Category Leader” for Patient Monitoring Systems, which includes ECG management solutions, in the 2009 Top 20 Best in KLAS Awards: Software & Professional Services report.

KLAS is analogous to Consumer Reports for healthcare information technology. Its mission statement is, “to improve healthcare technology delivery by honestly, accurately and impartially measuring vendor performance for our provider partners.”

Formed in 1996, KLAS has steadily grown in all market niches of healthcare information technology. It performed ~23,000 end-user surveys in 2009, including surveys with managers from 4,500 US hospitals. It bases its vendor ratings on thorough, confidential surveys with end users, the predominance of which are clinical managers and information technology managers.

Jim Stanczak, Executive Vice President of Epiphany, stated, “We use the KLAS report to keep a close watch on our end-user satisfaction. Although the data is anonymous, we are able to get indications of what is working and what is not. This provides additional input to enhance our continuous improvement program. It is extremely gratifying to be ranked the Category Leader for Patient Monitoring Systems by KLAS.”
