We’re delighted to be launching Real Print to the UK business market
(PRWeb UK) October 4, 2010
Real Print - http://www.real-print.com - the UK’s first quality direct mail on demand service has been launched this week by Print Fair.
Real Print provides a portfolio of exciting direct mail services to meet the varied needs of small and large businesses. realLeafletTM enables a leaflet to be printed in full colour on an individual basis and mailed directly to the customer, realDMTM provides a browser based system for ordering an entire direct mail campaign andrealWebTM allows customers to request printed brochures directly from the company’s website. The service operates around the careful automation of the entire direct mail process, allowing clients to upload leaflet artwork to the Real Print website, submit letterhead artwork and letter copy and leave Real Print to provide the printing and sent the mailings to the customer.
The business is the brainchild of David Hyams, whose extensive knowledge of direct mail and print has enabled him to streamline the process for the benefit of large companies and SMEs.
Clients use PDF artwork to provide Real Print with a reliable and complete artwork file for the leaflet, using templates held on the Real Print website. Leaflets may be produced with two or four pages in either A4 or A5 size and are printed in four colour digital print. The client also uploads a letterhead template to the system, together with copy for the letter. Finally, the leaflet and accompanying letter are posted to the recipient using a windowed envelope within 24 hours of receipt of artwork.
The Real Print site can store various versions of customer leaflets and letters, helping busy clients manage future mailings more efficiently. Other print formats and specifications are available from the Real Print team who also provide artworking at an additional charge.
Chris Combemale, Executive Director of the Direct Marketing Association, is enthusiastic about the development:
“It’s exciting to see such innovation in the print area, particularly the development of web based solutions for the SME market. The digital era is creating significant opportunities for the printing industry to re-invent its offers and solutions with on demand printing being one of the most
compelling. This type of service offers new market opportunities for the industry by making it easy and cost efficient for companies to use direct mail.”
“We’re delighted to be launching Real Print to the UK business market,” comments Real Print CEO, David Hyams.
“Research conducted recently by the Direct Marketing Association has shown that printed direct mail remains an important element of companies’ marketing communications, delivering £17 billion in sales to the UK economy. Recent research has also demonstrated that consumers still prefer to receive a great deal of their communications by post but it is important to create exactly the right customer proposition. Real Print is truly a viable alternative to email marketing – the message is guaranteed to reach the customer and not end up in spam filters and it’s is more likely to be kept and referred to again – unlike emails which are so often deleted. Our promise to deliver up-to-date leaflets to the recipient, together with a letter, within 24 hours, at £1.71 for one unique mailing is an incredible proposition that delivers real savings for busy UK companies in both time and resources.”
