State College, PA (Vocus) October 1, 2010
In Executive Order D2010-006, Governor Bill Ritter, Jr. of Colorado named EnergyCAP energy efficiency software as the “state agency standard utility tracking tool.” The Governor issued the Executive Order to reduce the environmental and budget impacts of state government facilities. According to the order, “All executive state agencies that own facilities are required to use EnergyCAP to track utility bill information pertaining to the owned facilities.”
The State purchased an EnergyCAP license for executive agencies to track utility bill information for the facilities they own. A discounted pricing agreement between the State of Colorado and EnergyCAP, Inc. was reached on August 25, 1010. Through the pricing agreement, Colorado local governments, schools, and political subdivisions can receive preferred pricing.
On October 5 and 6, EnergyCAP, Inc. will perform software training and demonstrations in downtown Denver. More than fifty users from various Colorado organizations will receive the training. In addition, prospective local government users are invited to attend the live demonstrations.
