Filippo Berio Olive Oil has launched a new Canadian website with “A Heritage of Taste” consumer promotion. The website and the consumer promotion, aimed at adults between the ages of 25 to 54, were created by OptiCom InterActive of Oakville, Ontario for Concord Sales Ltd., the exclusive distributor of Filippo Berio Olive Oil in Canada. The fully integrated consumer program, building on Filippo Berio heritage positioning, is supported by print, TV campaign on Food Network, Facebook advertising and retail POS. In addition My Recipe Box Facebook application will allow consumers to save & share their favourite recipes through the website and their mobile devices.
Starting November 5, 2010 Filippo Berio, in partnership with Eurovintage International, will also launch 4 week recipe dissemination program in LCBO retail outlets across Ontario featuring Rocca Ventosa wines and Filippo Berio Olive Oils. “This is one of the largest marketing initiatives we have conducted to promote usage and teach consumers about olive oil health benefits,” said Tony Luongo of Concord Sales Ltd.
