PlusFourSix can now provide access to over 10 million songs, through its white-label solution, to companies that want to launch their own streaming music service.

The Swedish digital music company, PlusFourSix that provides streaming music solutions to carriers such as 3 and Tele2 has now aggregated one of the world’s largest music data bases with more than 10 million songs. The catalogue includes all four major labels and large independent labels and aggregators.
PlusFourSix offers an end-to-end white-label streaming music service; including settling commercial agreements with labels and collecting societies, content operations, reporting and consumer store-fronts such as Android and iPhone applications, mobile browser and desktop browser interfaces.

“Our customers can now launch a complete streaming music service with catalogue offering in parity with services like iTunes and Napster within just a few weeks” says Jan Nordlund co-founder and EVP Business Development at PlusFourSix.

The music industry is rapidly changing and although sales of digital music is increasing piracy remains high and contributes to a loss for the industry of several US$ billions per year.

Besides its existing streaming offer PlusFourSix is also currently developing the world’s first end-to-end service for creating subscription based interactive music magazine for iPad.
