The integration with LotusLive is one more example of our commitment to making scheduling quick and easy, regardless of platform. This is just the beginning, and LotusLive users can look forward to several intelligent scheduling features in upcoming integrations.

Tungle Corp., the company that is revolutionizing the online scheduling and calendar industry, today announced its integration with LotusLive. LotusLive is a collection of integrated, online collaboration solutions and social networking services for business.
LotusLive clients can now import their LotusLive contacts into Tungle.me, access their Tungle.me accounts from within LotusLive, and click to meet contacts from within their LotusLive interface. This is the first phase of Tungle.me integration.
“Scheduling is an important component of collaboration, one that Tungle has spent the last few years making as simple as possible for the end user,” said Sean Poulley, vice president, cloud collaboration, IBM. “The Tungle app is a welcome addition to LotusLive, as it adds to the value LotusLive delivers to companies to help simplify and improve communication and collaboration.”
Both services are geared to help today’s business user collaborate, maximize productivity and cope with the cross-over of social networks with their work lives. To that end, Tungle recognizes that we need an intelligent calendar to provide context and make recommendations based on past activity.
“Tungle and LotusLive are unified in their goal to simplify collaboration and enhance productivity for business users, both within and outside of their organizations,” said Marc Gingras, founder and CEO of Tungle Corp. “The integration with LotusLive is one more example of our commitment to making scheduling quick and easy, regardless of platform. This is just the beginning, and LotusLive users can look forward to several intelligent scheduling features in upcoming integrations.”
Tungle syncs with all of the leading calendar platforms, including Lotus Notes, Microsoft Outlook, Google Calendar, Blackberry, Yahoo, Windows Live and more. The company recently put forward a manifesto, the Calendar of the Future, which looks to the future of the calendaring and productivity space.
Tungle Corp.’s Tungle.me makes scheduling meetings easy–across organizations, calendar systems and time zones–by eliminating the multiple emails, phone calls and double bookings that typically come with finding a time to meet. Tungle.me synchronizes with leading online calendar systems including Outlook, Google Calendar, Yahoo!, Windows Live, Apple iCal, Entourage for Mac, and Lotus Notes, and does not require visitors to sign in or register to schedule meetings. Tungle.me supports scheduling meetings on-the-go with Tungle.me for iPhone and BlackBerry.
Founded in 2006, the Montreal-based company is venture-backed by investors Commonwealth Capital Ventures, JLA Ventures and Desjardins Venture Capital.
