Louisville, KY (PRWEB) October 6, 2010
New Horizons Computer Learning Center is moving its Louisville center to a new location. Currently on Linn Station Road, the center will open its doors at 7410 New LaGrange Road on October 18th.
New Horizons has been in its current Louisville location since 1995, and general manager David Kessinger is excited about the opportunity to create a new learning environment that better aligns with the school’s current training model. “Our training format has changed over the past couple of years, and the classroom layout of the new space is ideal for our new model. We now have fewer classrooms, but teach more classes”
The “new model” includes the addition of two popular training methods developed by New Horizons: Mentored Learning, and Online LIVE. In Mentored Learning, students combine self-study with one-on-one mentoring with a certified instructor, while Online LIVE allows students to attend live, instructor-led training through a virtual environment.
“Our instructor might be in Texas, New York, or Ohio, but the student can interact with them just as they would in a regular classroom environment. It’s the same quality training our customers are used to, but because we work with a consortium of other New Horizons centers, our classes never cancel, and our course offerings have quadrupled.” said Kessinger.
The schools plans to celebrate the opening of the new center with a ribbon-cutting ceremony hosted through the Chamber of Commerce.
