The new office space is state of the art and will provide additional capacity as we continue to grow our business to meet this demand.
Conshohocken, PA (PRWEB) October 5, 2010
CBC Settlement Funding, LLC (“CBC”) is pleased to announce the move of its corporate headquarters to 1 West First Ave., Suite 310, Conshohocken, PA. Conshohocken is a suburb of Philadelphia conveniently located along the northeast corridor between New York and Washington D.C. CBC completed the move during the month of August 2010.
CBC Settlement Funding purchases structured settlements and other deferred cash flows. The move was necessitated following twelve months of sustained growth from increased liquidity demand by consumers holding structured settlements. Co-Managing Director William J. Skyrm stated, “The new office space is state of the art and will provide additional capacity as we continue to grow our business to meet this demand.”
The company is also pleased to announce the hiring of account representative Andrew Carnevale who joined the staff on September 20, 2010. Prior to joining CBC Settlement Funding, Mr. Carnevale worked as a financial analyst with Coventry First, a life settlement provider. CBC is currently accepting resumes in an effort to add staff and build out its new production center.
About Structured Settlements
Structured settlements are commonly used in the settlement of personal injury lawsuits to spread payouts over 10, 20 or 30 years. The secondary market for structured settlement annuity transfers is a highly regulated market place offering clients liquidity options for otherwise inflexible assets. In 2002 Congress passed IRC 5891 affirming the tax benefits of structured settlements but requiring compliance with all applicable state or federal laws. Today 47 states have enacted structured settlement protection acts requiring court review and approval of each structured settlement transfer.
