Live365, the world’s most diverse Internet radio broadcasting network and provider of premier broadcasting services, has scheduled its 2010 Broadcaster Roadshow for Saturday, October 16th. The Broadcaster Roadshow will include day and evening programs — both events free to those interested in learning more about Internet broadcasting, also known as “webcasting."

The daytime program will run from 11am to 5:30pm and will showcase a variety of educational topics, including everything you need to know to set up an Internet broadcast on the Live365 network. Presentations will include how to program a station, marketing, royalties, making money through the Broadcaster Rewards Program, and more. Experts in the field, including Live365 broadcasters and staff, will be available to answer questions and meet one-on-one with attendees. This complimentary educational event is intended to provide a rare networking opportunity to the people behind the microphone in the rapidly expanding Internet radio world. (The day program will take place at The Solarium, located at 55 Second Street, San Francisco, CA 94105).

Immediately following the Roadshow day program, Live365 is hosting an evening party to celebrate 10 years of continuous broadcasting. The party is open to existing and prospective Live365 broadcasters as well as listeners and will feature live music by Zigaboo. Zigaboo “Joseph” Modeliste is a Master Drummer, Rhythm-Innovator, Percussionist, and a New Orleans Legend. The party will kick off at 6pm at nearby 111 Minna Gallery in San Francisco.

Millions of listeners tune in each month to the Live365 network, which includes 7,000+ stations on the network spanning 250+ genres of music and talk. Unlike many other webcasting services, there is a real person behind every Live365 station. The most successful broadcasters on the network also earn money in the form of broadcaster rewards, which include bounties for subscriptions as well as financial rewards based on listening hours. "We're excited to celebrate more than a decade of Internet broadcasting with the people that make it all possible — the Live365 broadcasters," shares Heidi Elgaard, Live365's Director of Marketing.
