New York, NY (PRWEB) October 6, 2010
With all the love and joy pets bring to their owners on a daily basis, why not have a place to document all the great memories? Petbookdiaries.com is a special and unique kind of website concept that allows animal lovers the ability to keep a personalized web page of their pet, all while giving to a charity or shelter of their choice that is dedicated to the protection and advocacy of animals.
Petbookdiaries.com is made possible thanks to the site's creator, David Saracino, and his two partners, Mike Napolitano and Lou Deery. All three of these men are business owners from various fields, who have come together in this cause because they are committed to the well being of animals and the conditions within animal shelters.
Set to launch in early October, Petbookdiaries.com charges a one-time, nominal fee that gives joining members a customized web page dedicated to their pet that includes visual and auditory recordings like pictures, music, video, poems, stories or any other descriptive material of their choice. Once a member signs up on the site, a $5.00 donation is made to that member's animal shelter or charity of choice. If the member chooses to make a more sizeable donation, they will also be given the option to do so.
"It is very important for our members to realize that the ultimate purpose for creating Petbookdiaries.com was to raise money for local animal shelters and charities," explains Saracino. "This is what sets us apart from other sites. We know that other animal lovers just like us will recognize the benefit of partnering with us in supporting and protecting animals. Together, we can make a real difference."
Once someone signs up with the site, they will be able to have guests contribute comments and pictures to their web page. Members will be able to send emails to other members and their guests, and members will also have access to a topic-forum for communication. A team of customer service representatives is available to help members scan images, discuss layouts, help with any problem that may be occurring with the web page.
