Spring Forest Qigong is proud to announce that Lesley Vincent has been certified as a Spring Forest Qigong Master, Level Two, by qigong master and creator of Spring Forest Qigong, Chunyi Lin. Ms. Vincent is the first woman and only the second of Lin’s more than 120,000 students to have reached this very high level.

Ms. Vincent has been a student of Chunyi Lin’s and SFQ since 1996. “You were born a healer, born with the ability to help yourself to heal and to help others to heal,” says Chunyi Lin. “That is the message I share with all my students. From her very first classes with me Lesley connected with this message. It is such a joy to see how Lesley has opened her heart so deeply over the years to help literally thousands and thousands of people.”

“When someone is in pain and need it touches all of us on the heart level,” says Ms. Vincent. “These techniques that Chunyi has given us are so simple, yet often so powerful in helping others. And anyone can learn to use them. It is a wonderful honor to be certified a Spring Forest Qigong Master. I am even more grateful for the opportunity to join in Chunyi’s vision of “a healer in every family and a world without pain.”

Two new independent research studies have found Spring Forest Qigong techniques helpful in relieving chronic pain. One study focused on personal practice or “internal” qigong. The other by researchers from the University of Minnesota and one of the top Medical Centers in the U.S., focused on “External Qigong.” The same techniques that Lin has taught Ms. Vincent and more than one hundred thousand others.

“Subjects with chronic pain who received External Qigong experienced reduction in pain intensity following each Qigong treatment. This is especially impressive given the long duration of pain (>5 years), in the majority of subjects,” writes the study’s lead author.
