Relic Wear LLC has signed a multi-year licensing agreement to produce Ted Williams memorabilia products. The company will announce some new products later this month that focus on the greatest hitters in baseball history.

"We are very pleased to be able to announce our plans to provide collectors and fans with unique Ted Williams memorabilia products. The 'Splendid Splinter' was obsessed with the science of hitting, and his career spanned an important time in the history of our great country. We feel that our limited edition products incorporate the essence of memorabilia: authenticity, history, and inspiration," said founder Alex Malone.

Ted Williams played his entire career with the Boston Red Sox from 1939 to 1960, which included two stints in the military to serve during WWII and Korea. He was the last player to hit for a .400 average, with .406 in 1941, and is the only American League player to earn the triple crown twice by leading the league in average, home runs, and RBI. He was elected into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1966.
