Baltimore-based Lookingglass Cyber Solutions - the leading provider of global cyber situational awareness products - announced today the addition of National Cyber expert Robert F. Lentz, president and CEO of Cyber Security Strategies LLC, to the company’s Board of Advisors. As an advisor, Mr. Lentz will aid Lookingglass strategically by lending his knowledge of the federal government and its need to make advancements in cyber security capabilities.

Mr. Lentz is the president and CEO of Cyber Security Strategies LLC a strategic advisory firm focused on promoting cyber security technology that advances the national security posture of the federal government and critical infrastructure. Mr. Lentz formally served as the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Cyber, Identity and Information Assurance (CIIA) in the Office of the Assistant Secretary of Defense, Networks and Information Integration/Chief Information Officer. Since November 2000, he served as the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) for the Department of Defense (DoD) and in this capacity, oversaw the departments 3 billion dollar Information Assurance & Cyber Security programs. Mr. Lentz started his career with the National Security Agency (NSA) in 1975. Since that time he accumulated over 34 years of experience and established himself as a change agent within federal government and a catalyst transforming relationships with the private sector and innovators.
