New York, NY (PRWEB) October 8, 2010
Michel Faulkner, Republican Congressional Candidate for New York’s 15th District, today announced endorsement from Haley PAC, headed by Governor and former RNC-Chairman Haley Barbour.
“Today, Haley PAC is proud to announce its endorsement of Michel Faulkner for Congress,” said Governor Barbour. “Rev. Faulkner is exactly the type of representative who is needed in Congress to address the economic challenges facing America. He is a man of integrity who has built a reputation as an outstanding leader in serving those facing financial struggles in the 15th District of New York. With his community leadership acumen and commitment to free enterprise principles for job growth, less taxes, limited government, he is very much needed in Washington, D.C. now more than ever.”
"I am honored to have the support of Governor Haley Barbour and his Haley PAC,” said Faulkner. “When someone with Governor Barbour’s esteemed political insights and experience believes that this race is worth his investment, it’s a clear sign that we can and will win, and that for the first time in forty years, New York’s 15th District voters will choose to have a leader that truly represents them in the U.S. House of Representatives.”
Faulkner is challenging embattled 40-year incumbent Charlie Rangel, who faces serious ethics charges from the House Ethics Committee.
Michel Faulkner is a husband and father of three and currently serves as Pastor of the New Horizon Church in Harlem, New York. This is his first run for political office.
