Montpelier, VT (PRWEB) October 8, 2010
For the 2010-2011 snowshoe season MSR Snowshoes introduces an all-new line up of highly innovative, game changing technologies that dramatically improve upon the already remarkable performance and ease-of-use characteristics of MSR Snowshoes. Each snowshoe category - including the aggressive Ascent series, the versatile all-terrain Explore series and the recreational Trek series – now offers two styles of snowshoes. The first style is the Evo which builds upon either the classic Unibody frame deck with unibody traction system and vertical traction bars. The second style is the Lightning which utilizes the high-tech 360° Traction Frame with urethane decking materials.
Additional new features found on the new line of MSR Snowshoes include completely redesigned snowshoe binding systems that offer most comfort and easy adjustability of any snowshoe bindings on the market today. Also, all MSR Snowshoes are now equipped to use MSR’s unique flotation tail technology, allowing for incredible snowshoe float in deep snow conditions or when weighed down with a heavy backpack gear load. Simply snap the snowshoe tails onto the rear of the frames to deploy.
"MSR Snowshoes has had such a strong snowshoe line up in the last few years that no one batted an eye when they didn't change from season to season - we're really happy to see a new line of snowshoes from MSR that feature new technology, not just a new look.", says Catherine Case, ORS Direct Consumer Relations and Sales Director.
The Ascent series includes the MSR Lightning Ascent snowshoes (http://www.orssnowshoesdirect.com/msr-lightning-ascent-snowshoes.html) and the MSR Evo Ascent snowshoes (http://www.orssnowshoesdirect.com/msr-evo-ascent-snowshoes.html). Both are designed for the most extreme conditions and terrain and feature the PosiLock AT bindings. The Explore series includes the MSR Lightning Axis and Evo Tour models, ideal for virtually all terrain and snow conditions. Both models include the revolutionary new SpeedLock binding systems. The Trek series includes the MSR Lightning Flash and the MSR Evo models. Superb options for optimal efficiency and reliability on rolling terrain and variable snow conditions. Kids snowshoes are also offered and include the MSR Shift for older kids and the MSR Tyker for younger children.
