Relationship to Deliver Records Management and RFID Tracking Solutions across the Canadian Market

FileTrail and Beacontree Technologies Inc. today announced that they have entered into a partnership to deliver physical records management and asset tracking solutions to the Justice and Law Enforcement markets. Under this agreement, Beacontree will become a reseller and implementation partner, bringing FileTrail’s suite of solutions to clients across Canada.

“Canada is an untapped market for RFID and related asset tracking solutions. We’ve seen FileTrail solutions being adopted across the globe for the past few years, so we’re excited about replicating this success and bringing these high-value solutions to our clients here in Canada,” says George Roberts, President of Beacontree. With Beacontree having just attained technical certification on the FileTrail product line, Dav1d Grossman, CTO of Beacontree, observed, “FileTrail’s software is well developed, field-tested over many years, and robust enough for even the most demanding of law firms and government agencies. The flexibility of the database enables us to meet client-specific needs while maintaining the integrity of the system as a whole.”

FileTrail’s strategy is to deliver its software solutions through alliances with key global partners, including resellers, systems integrators, and complimentary technology providers. The relationship with Beacontree allows FileTrail to continue to focus on developing the most innovative and comprehensive records management and RFID software solutions to help customers further reduce costs, minimize risk and more effectively manage items in accordance with corporate policy.

“Beacontree is poised to become a great FileTrail partner. They have a tremendous focus on client success – we were struck by their combination of technical expertise, disciplined project management and innovative thinking when it came to crafting solutions to client’s business problems. We believe the Justice and Law Enforcement markets are a perfect place to start with Beacontree; however, we see the relationship developing quickly into other areas as they demonstrate success among their clients.” says Jim Petty, Vice President of FileTrail.
