RMS Omega Technologies, a leading barcode systems integrator, announced today that the company will be presenting various barcode system solutions at the Healthcare IT Solutions Exchange (HITSE) October 26-27, 2010 in Westborough, Massachusetts. In addition to barcoding and data collection technology, RMS Omega will be revealing the next generation of bedside computing technology, MEDIVista Bedside Computing Station.
The Healthcare IT Solutions Exchange (HITSE) is an ongoing series of conferences aimed at bringing Hospital Information Systems users together to discuss the selection, planning, implementation and support of healthcare IT solutions. HITSE New England 2010 will include educational tracks for MEDITECH 6.0, Meaningful Use, CPOE and Revenue Cycle Management. Additionally there will be sessions hosted by industry experts, case studies and panel discussions for healthcare IT.
RMS Omega, along with Honeywell and Lincor, will be hosting an interactive session featuring the latest trends in Barcode and Bedside Computing Technology for Hospitals. The session will include implementation considerations for barcode scanners, the benefits of integrating clinical access and patient satisfaction into one system as well as reviewing leading barcode equipment.
RMS Omega will also be presenting a new bedside computing system, MEDIVista, at the HITSE conference. Lincor's MEDIVista, is a secure touch screen computer mounted at the patient’s bedside. MEDIVista offers clinical access to electronic health records and patient access to entertainment services all in one computer station. The new bedside computing system interfaces to existing Hospital Information Systems and provides real-time EHR access at point-of-patient care.
