The VPA's Certification-Audit Program allows consumers to determine whether a service contract vendor is in compliance with Vehicle Protection Association standards of conduct
Selbyville, DE (Vocus) October 8, 2010
Absolute Auto Protection has received industry certification from the Vehicle Protection Association (VPA), an association formed to promote regulatory transparency, education and accountability for marketing and servicing automotive service contracts.
To become certified, Absolute Auto Protection has gone through a thorough evaluation. Among other things, the process involves an extensive on-site audit, to ensure that companies are in compliance with federal and state laws and that they are upholding the Standards of Conduct established by the Vehicle Protection Association.
"The VPA's Certification-Audit Program allows consumers to determine whether a service contract vendor is in compliance with Vehicle Protection Association standards of conduct," said Larry Hecker, executive director of VPA. “This certification is very difficult to obtain, and consumers should take it as a sign that Absolute Auto Protection is a company that cares about its customers."
"By achieving certification, we have demonstrated that we are dedicated to providing our customers with a consistent and positive experience every step of the way," said Scott Thomas of Absolute Auto Protection. "Customers who see the VPA certification logo on our website will know that we will treat them right, from purchase to service and beyond."
As part of the Certification-Audit Program, companies must submit to a third-party for review. In addition to an on-site audit, companies also complete a self evaluation. If they pass through all of the rigorous evaluations, they can display the Vehicle Protection Association Certification logo on their marketing materials as a sign to consumers that they are a good company to work with.
