Steven Savage, an IT professional who blogs and speaks on careers, has released his second book "Progeek Rising: The Best of Fan To Pro, Volume 1." Published via, it will soon be available from a variety of sources.

Mr. Savage is a life-long enthusiast for technology, science fiction, and media, always directing his interests into forming a fulfilling career.    He refers to himself as a "Geek 2.0" - a person who takes his obsessions and turns them into professions. In order to share his experiences with others, he and a friend founded the blog Fan To Pro ( to reach out and support the careers of people like themselves - computer gamers, programmers, science-fiction fans, anime enthusiasts, and more. His first book, "Fan To Pro: Unlocking Career Insights With Your Hobbies" was released in March 2010.
